HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?
It's easy. Just click on the "LOGIN" button in the top right corner of the homepage and follow the instructions to create your account. Once you have created your account, an email will be sent to you confirming your email address. Just reply to that email and you will be able to get started right away. return to new accounts
DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT?
No, there is no charge to create your account. return to new accounts
HOW CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
Though we never like to see anyone delete their account, you can delete your account by sending an email to help@BusesOnline.com requesting that your account be deleted. Remember, if you delete your account, all of your "My Account" records will be deleted, as well as any disabled classified ads, and any remaining funds in your account. There are NO REFUNDS if you delete your account. return to new accounts
Editing | Managing Classified Listings Answers
HOW CAN I ADD PHOTOS TO MY CLASSIFIED LISTING?
Photos can be added to your classified listing at any time (provided you have the appropriate listing).
Once you are logged in to your account, find the blue box to the left of your screen titled "Account Management".
Click on "Manage Your Listings". Find the listing you would like to add photos to and click on that title.
Once that page is loaded, scroll down to the bottom and find the pictures area. Click on the "Browse" button.
This will take you to your computer where you will find the picture you would like to load into your classified listing.
Once you have found the photo, click on it once and then click on the "Open" button at the bottom of that box.
You can repeat these steps to load as many photos as permitted within your listing.
Once you have completed the loading process, be sure to click on the "SAVE CHANGES" at the very bottom of the page.
NOTE: Please be patient as it could take up to a few minutes to load your photos. DO NOT click the "SAVE CHANGES" button more than once.
Then you are finished and the photos will be posted onto the website within 24 hours (if not sooner). return to editing-listings
CAN I CHANGE THE PHOTOS IN MY CLASSIFIED LISTING?
Yes. You can change photos at any time and as often as you'd like while your listing is active on the website. Just LOGIN to your account and go to "Account Management", find the listing you would like to edit, make the changes to the photos, and then be sure to click on "SAVE CHANGES" at the bottom of your listing. Your changes will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours (if not sooner). return to editing-listings
HOW CAN I ADD A VIDEO TO MY CLASSIFIED LISTING?
Once you have created your video, you will need to post your video on a host website such as YouTube® or similar service. Once you have a URL for your video, copy that URL address. LOGIN to your account and go to the classified ad you would like to ad your video to. Just paste that URL address into the box provided within your classified ad. Be sure to click on the "Save Changes" box at the bottom of the page for those changes to take affect. return to editing-listings
CAN I CHANGE THE INFORMATION IN MY CLASSIFIED LISTING?
Yes you can. You can change the information in your classified listing as often as you would like while your listing is active on the website. Just LOGIN to your account and go to "Manage My Account", find the listing you would like to edit, make the changes, and then be sure to click on SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of your listing. Your changes will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours (if not sooner). return to editing-listings
IF I SELL MY ITEM BEFORE MY TIME IS UP, CAN I USE THAT AD FOR A DIFFERENT ITEM?
Your ad can only be used for that one item. Once your item is sold, you must create a new classified listing to sell another item. return to editing-listings
CAN I SELL ANYTHING ON YOUR WEBSITE, OR JUST BUSES?
We have a "MISCELLANEOUS" page where you can sell anything you'd like, as long as it has something to do with transportation (i.e., trucks, cars, motorcycles, scooters, trailers, boats, etc.). You never know who is looking for something, so why not expand your viewing area? return to editing-listings
CAN I HAVE SEVERAL LISTINGS AT ONE TIME?
Yes. Once you have created an account, you can manage all your listings very easily. Just LOGIN, and go to "ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT" on the left side of the page (in the blue box). There is no limit to how many classified ads you can have. return to editing-listings
IS IT TRUE THAT CLASSIFIED ADS ARE FREE FOR PARTS, COLLECTIBLES AND INDUSTRY EMPLOYMENT?
Yes it is true. You can sell Bus, Motorhome and RV Parts, Bus Collectibles, as well as place Industry Employment ads for free. return to editing-listings
HOW CAN I RUN MY CLASSIFIED LISTING FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH?
Your classified listing, no matter what category or package, will remain on our website until YOU disable or delete your listing. To disable or delete your listing, just LOGIN to your account and go to "Manage My Account". There you will need to find the classified listing you would like to disable or delete. You will find the appropriate box to check off. REMEMBER, deleting a listing is FINAL and cannot be retrieved. return to editing-listings
WHY CAN'T I LIST MY EMAIL ADDRESS IN MY CLASSIFIED DESCRIPTION?
This is for your safety and convenience. You don't want your email listed without encryption because email spammers will use your address. That is why we provide a "Contact Seller" button for people to safely email you directly. return to editing-listings
CAN I ADD AN EVENT TO YOUR EVENT CALENDAR?
If your event has to do with the transportation industry, we would be happy to hear about your event. Please email us at info@BusesOnline.com describing your event and we will consider adding it to our calendar. We reserve the right to post an event on our events calendar. return to editing-listings
WHAT IS THE "SERVICES DIRECTORY" AND HOW DO I USE IT?
The purpose of our Services Directory is to help you find solutions to your servicing needs within the bus industry. Just click on the title you would like to find help for. There you will find a list of qualified companies that can help you with your specific needs. return to editing-listings
HOW DO I PURCHASE A CLASSIFIED AD?
It is very to purchase a classified ad. Once you LOGIN to your account, there are two ways to purchase an ad. First, you can to the the "Account Management" section to the left of your screen and click on "Add A New Listing". This will bring you through a few quick steps to determine what type of ad you would like to create. After that is determined, the system will ask you for payment. Once payment has been received, you will be able to create your listing. Second, once you LOGIN to your account, you will see an "Add $ To Your Account" link in the lower right section of the pages. Just click on that link and it will bring you to a page where you can add money to your account. This will allow you to pre-purchase ads. This step is extremely helpful if you plan to create more than one classified listing. return to Payment Purchase questions
HOW MUCH DO CLASSIFIED ADS COST?
You have several options when creating your classified ad. When creating a classified ad for a vehicle, you can choose from our Bronze, Silver or Gold packages - click HERE for more details. When creating a Parts, Collectibles, or Industry Employment classified ad, those are all FREE of charge. return to Payment Purchase questions
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE AD AT A TIME?
Yes you can. Once you LOGIN to your account, you will see an "Add $ To Your Account" link in the lower right section of the pages. Just click on that link and it will bring you to a page where you can add money to your account. This will allow you to pre-purchase ads. WHEN DOES MY CLASSIFIED AD EXPIRE?
Your classified ad will remain on our website until YOU remove it. This way you can take advantage of our website's excellent traffic to expose your classified ad to as many potential buyers as possible until your item is sold. There is no expiration date. return to Payment Purchase questions
