SALEM WITCH MUSEUM
Salem Witch Museum

The Salem Witch Museum presents one of the most tragic and enduring events in American history…THE WITCH HYSTERIA of 1692.  Interest in what happened 300 years ago remains high and in fact keeps growing.

Our exhibit WITCHES EVOLVING PERCEPTIONS traces the myths of this mysterious religion.  From midwives and healers to witch hunts and wiccans…Do you believe in witches?  Don't answer until you see Salem's Most Visited Museum.

SEASHORE TROLLEY MUSEUM
 Seashore Trolley Museum

Founded in 1939, The Seashore Trolley Museum is the oldest and largest museum of public transportation with a collection representing almost every major American city. Explore three exhibit carbarns, witness the restoration process from the observation gallery in our restoration shop and ride a streetcar out along a portion of the Atlantic Shore Line Railway, once an electric interurban route.
The Seashore Trolley Museum has an extensive collection of motor coaches. During many of our special events we bring out vehicles, such as our buses, that aren’t routinely operated.  Our Annual Transit Day event held on Columbus day weekend is the largest of these events, and this is when we put the spotlight our bus, trackless trolley, and rapid transit collections.
